Seniors Support Magazine

Our aim in producing this publication is to not only assist and inform our senior society members, but to draw attention amongst all age groups to the daily issues affecting our own parents, grandparents, friends and neighbours. Australian statistics show that we have an ‘ageing population’. There are more people living longer and thus their requirements, problems, rights and expectations are finally gaining more focus, attention and assistance. Attention should not only be drawn to the growing dependence and problems our senior community members face daily, but also to the vast experiences, talents, knowledge and wisdom they have accumulated and have to offer. In short, we wish to acknowledge the value of our seniors and contributions they make to our community.

Australia has a rapidly aging population and the implications run far and wide. Through our articles we hope to examine some of the benefits and pitfalls of an aging population.

Seniors Support Magazine will supply up to date, relevant and topical articles that affect all the over 55's. We are passionate about this segment of our community because it is under represented in most areas of media, local and national government. We Hope that you will find some interest in our articles whether you are young, a senior, elderly......... or young at heart!
